Business Card Templates
These templates are only for full color business cards. Postcards
and other items are easy to set up following the same guidelines,
but changing the size of the page.
With Bleeds (ink going to the edge)

Quark, Illustrator, Corel Draw
Set page size to final trim size of project. Set margins
to at least 1/8" (some items may require more. i.e.
letterhead and envelopes). This will be your margins
for non-bleed information. Extend all art 1/8" past
the page's edge. |

PageMaker
Set page size to 1/4" (.25") bigger than final trim
size of project. Set margins to 1/8". This will show
you where the item will be cut. Extend all art to the
page's edge that will bleed - not past. Set guides 1/8"
inside of those margins. This will be your margins for
non-bleed information. |

page's edge that will bleed. Set another set of guides
1/8" inside of those margins. This will be your margins
for non-bleed information. Resolution must be 300 dpi
(ppi) for CMYK 24-bit art and 1200 dpi for 1-bit lineart.

Set margins to at least 1/8" (some items may require
more. i.e. letterhead and envelopes). This will be your
margins for non-bleed information. Set "bleeds" to 1/8"
(0.125"). Extend all art to the bleed edge. |
With No Bleeds (minimum 1/8" white margin)

Business Card Templates
All templates are zipped. Use either winzip
or stuffit expander to decompress. These programs
are free for download on the internet.
Click on program that you want (for both mac and pc)
