Use the order form to submit your order specifications. Electronic files should be sent after the order form has been submitted.

Obviously, the speed at which you get us your files and at which you give us the final go ahead after receiving your proof has a direct influence on how fast your order will get printed. We suggest, therefore, that you use FTP or e-mail to send your files to us. FTP and e-mail will save you both time and money. We do, of course, accept files on disk.

Take note as to the size of the files you are sending us. For example, no individual full color business card should have a compressed file which is larger than 6 MB. If yours does, it needs to be examined as it is probably no set up correctly. Read the directions given on this website for setting up files.

If your combined files are bigger than 2 MB because of multiple orders, FTP must be used if you are not sending us a disk. In the event that you don't have the means of designing the order yourself or just don't have the time, you can mail us the original artwork, for example a photo, and possibly even a sample of a previous printing in the past (art that is scanned from a printed piece will be diminished in quality compared to the original). Then we can compose your job for you. This means doing scanning and desktop publishing in pre-press. Each order includes 1 scan, 1/4 hour of computer time, and two e-mailed proofs.

Instructions for FTP programs.
If you are using an FTP program, type in "acecolorprinting.com" for the server host name, and "printing" or "graphics" for the directory, depending on which service you need.
Username: anonymous / Password: your email address

Each program may use a little different wording or terminology.

FTP is a quicker method of transferring files than email.
It gets around internet providers' e-mail attachment size restrictions.
We do not accept e-mail attachments larger than 2 MB.

1.	place all graphics, fonts, and files in one folder and label appropriately.
2.	compress the folder/file if possible to a .zip, .sit, or .dd (some files will become corrupted in the transfer if they are not compressed)
3.	ask yourself if the compressed file size seems too large. If it is, check your resolution of your images.
4.	choose binary instead of text data transfer method if you have the option
5.	drag and drop, or "put file"

Instructions for submitting through Netscape Navigator.

1.	click on either of the links below and a new window will open with the ftp directory click here to upload to printing click here to upload to graphics
2.	place all graphics, fonts, and files in one folder and label appropriately.
3.	compress the folder/file if possible to a .zip, .sit, or .dd (some files will become corrupted in the transfer if they are not compressed)
4.	in the file menu, choose "file upload".
5.	find your file, and click "open"
6.	wait for the transfer to complete itself
7.	if your connection is dropped or something else is wrong with your transferred file, add "new" to the beginning of your file name and try again. (eg. newexample.zip).

Instructions for submitting through Internet Explorer 5.0+

1.	click on either of the links below and a new window will open with the ftp directory click here to upload to printing click here to upload to graphics
2.	place all graphics, fonts, and files in one folder and label appropriately.
3.	compress the file if possible to a .zip, .sit, or .dd (some files will become corrupted in the transfer if they are not compressed)
4.	drag and drop the folder into the browser window
5.	wait for the transfer to complete itself
6.	if your connection is dropped or something else is wrong with your transferred file, add "new" to the beginning of your file name and try again. (eg. newexample.zip).
