Dania Beach is home to the International Game Fish Association Fishing Hall of Fame. Come see 170 species of game fish that have earned world-record status suspended overhead with information on each displayed on the floor below. Seven galleries within the museum include the interactive Catch Gallery, where you can grab a rod and reel and haul in a big bass or a big marlin while watching your catch come to you on a video screen. In the Legacy Gallery, you learn about the history of game fishing and the IGFA through exhibits of world-record catches and tributes to such fisherman as Ernest Hemingway and Zane Grey, as well as junior anglers. Called the world's fastest ballgame by the Guinness Book of World Records.
